Overview

Athens is one of the oldest cities of the world and the capital and largest city of Greece. It is the cultural hub of the country with modern façade and amenities. A hike up to the Lycabettus Hill will provide you with the most stunning view of the Athens town and many cafes and bistros with a beautiful view of the sea.

Athens is home to a number of museums like the the National Archeological Museum near Omonia, the New Acropolis Museum by the Acropolis, the Benaki and Museum of Cycladic Art in Kolonaki, the Agora Museum near Monastiraki, and the Kanellopoulos and Folk Art Museums. This city is also home to many parks, art galleries and cultural performances.

There are many large shopping malls and fine dine restaurants for you to enjoy the urban pleasures of Athens. There are also street shops and outlets for cheap buys.
